After attending Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho), Kevin studied at Art Center College of Design. The many artists and instructors he studied with continue to have a great influence on his work. The early California plein air painters have been a source of inspiration, as well as contemporary and old masters. Kevin works as a graphic designer, illustrator, and production team lead at Progressive Publishing where he continues to learn as much as he can about art and design. He paints regularly and is excited and dedicated to pursuing art and expanding his expertise.
He finds inspiration in being outdoors, whether that is at a ballgame, in the mountains, at a beach, or even in the local park or neighborhood. He explores how light and atmosphere affect the color and drama of the figure and landscape through his expertly crafted artwork. Kevin lives in Jerome, Idaho, with his wife, Jackie, and their twin boys.
