I wandered in the falling snow and saw this wonderful contrast of cool white and warm, dark thistles and weeds. It reminded me of Frost’s poem — a line of which I use as a title. It is a calm quiet encounter with nature that tempts us to pause even on the darkest evenings or busiest days. As I stood taking in the scene, I knew I needed to share it.
